Interregional projects
As the Brussels Region is not an island and urban sprawl and its consequences go beyond the borders of the Region, perspective.brussels works in close collaboration with other experts from the administrations in charge of spatial planning in the 3 Belgian regions. Various projects are underway or have been completed.
Projects in progress
Projects in progress :
Interregional Forum : Since 2012, the Interregional Spatial Planning Information Forum has brought together the administrations of the three Belgian Regions to facilitate the exchange of information on planning policies and tools, as well as on common issues. It also provides funding for joint studies, such as the Metropolitan Landscapes study. Each year, the three regions take it in turns to organise a meeting of spatial planning experts of the 3 regional administrations on a topic of common interest.
