Op 1 januari 2025 telde het Brussels Hoofdstedelijk Gewest 1 255 795 inwoners, een stijging met meer dan 6 000 personen in één jaar. Deze stijging is gematigder dan in de voorgaande jaren.

De Focus van het BISA nr. 78: “Demografische barometer 2025” gaat dieper in op de evolutie van de Brusselse bevolking in 2024.
