The European Week of Regions and Cities is the largest regional policy event held in Brussels each year.
This 19th edition will be held online from 11 to 14 October 2021.
Two workshops during this week will be co-organised by Perspective:
Workshop « The role and future perspectives of cohesion policy in the planning of metropolitan areas and cities » - 11 October from 4.30pm to 6pm
This workshop will be an opportunity to present and discuss the main results of the ESPON METRO project, of which perspective.brussels is part. This project will study the added value of European cohesion policy in improving the territorial planning of European cities and metropolitan areas.

Workshop « Achieving the green transition in the magaregion Eurodelta » - 14 October from 11.30am to 1pm
This workshop, co-organised by the SURE Eurodelta Network, will focus on the presentation of specific spatial and political actions, particularly in the field of sustainable transport infrastructure and mobility. The results and recommendations of the ESPON / STISE research will also be presented. perspective.brussels is participating in this research which aims to give an overview of the current and future impact of the flows of people and goods upon the sustainable development of the Eurodelta area.
